 Michelle will be back to show you how yoga can be used as a tool for good in the world. This class is intended for older adults who would be interested in learning the helpful benefits of yoga. 

Saturdays, April 7 & 21 @ 12:00 PM        Family Storytime
     Families with young children will enjoy stories, crafts, rhymes, singing, and finger-plays.

Saturday, April 7 @ 2:00 PM            Build Your Own Kite!
     Members of the Pierce County Kite Fliers Association will be here to help you make and fly your  own kite. Materials are supplied, all ages are welcome.


Wednesdays, April  11 & 25  from 1:00-3:00 PM    MDC Employment Assistance
     Gordon Oliver from Metropolitan Development Council will be offering employment assistance to those  who  have struggled with chronic unemployment. He will also will direct you to those who will provide guidance on college and trade school and retraining opportunities.

     Play to Learn is for those who nurture children 6 and under. Each week’s theme offers individual play, fun group activities, songs and story times for children and adults to enjoy together. Drop-in; no registration required.

     A Daffodil Princess will be here to read to families with children. Participants will make a tiara and  have their pictures taken with a princess!

    Explore Tangram puzzles, create a special Mother’s Day gift, and select a new book to take home!


Saturday, April 28 @ 2:00 PM            Tips and Tricks for Spring Planting
    In this gardening class, you will learn how to use everyday material for planting seeds and maintaining a healthy, successful garden throughout the season.

      Join with others engaged in PC Reads while watching this highly acclaimed movie depicting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s campaign to secure equal voting rights through an epic march from Selma to Montgomery Alabama in 1965.
